MY XPS-8900 has just recently started having Blue Screen of Death issues. The message on the screen is : "Stopcode: System Service Exception; What Failed: cldflt.sys".
I can't find a solution online - any suggestions?

Latitude 12 7202 tablet - can't get past TPM change
I got a 7202 M-5Y71 and was resetting it, reinstalling Windows etc.. Getting Windows back up and running was no problem, but there is a problem I can't get past. It is probably because I do not have the keyboard. I reset the TPM to make sure it would be ready to go and get all the security set up on the tablet.
As the tablet boots up there is a notification about the TPM change, as I expected. It requires me to press either F10 or ESC to continue. I do have a simple USB keyboard plugged in, but it doesn't acknowledge any key press! It seems that the TPM message comes up before the keyboard is started. The message text is below.
I can't get past this message, so the tablet is now completely useless! Please someone from Dell do you have something that can get me past this? I am very experienced with configuring laptops and tablets from Dell, and I've never come across anything like this before.

Latitude 12 7202 - Dell Rugged Control Center 2.0 is missing Flash function
I recently got a 7202 tablet and reinstalled the operating system and Dell drivers and utilities from scratch. It previously had the version 1 Dell Rugged Control Center installed before I reset it. I did see that version of the control center had the Flash On / Flash Off feature.
With the new 2.0 version, there is no option to turn on the Flash. This renders the flash useless as far as I can tell. This seems like a huge missing piece in the software compared to version 1.0. I was not able to locate the version 1.0 of the Rugged Control Center software to download anywhere on Dell's support site after several search attempts.
Does anyone know where I can find the installer for the Dell Rugged Control Center 1.0 version? Thanks!

Support Assistant Embedded vs. Support Assistant Enterprise
I do have a couple of question to the support assistant, where i am unclear configuring our new hardware.
We just bought two new DELL S4048t-ON Network Switches.
The last step where i am a bit stuck, is configuring the support assistant.
We do already have an Support Assistant Enterprise installed, where we track our poweredge servers with.
I am was about to setup the embedded Support Assistant in the switches, where i thought why not add them in the enterprise console.
Before finish any config there, i do have a couple of questions:
- What is the difference between the enterprise console and the embedded support assistant?
- I would like to activate the Support Assistant on the S4048t-on. Can i still add the device in the enterprise console and is this wise to do it in 2 places?
- Are there any features not available when using one or the other method?
- Can i add the switch in the enterprise console even it only has RSA-Authentication activated, because all i could find was to add it with a username and password?
- When added to the enterprise console, there will be a option to enter a snmp community. Will this community has to be setup manually on the switch?
- When activating the embedded Support assistant, there is an option for a second url? Can i add the Support Assistant Enterprise there?
- When activating the embedded Support Assistant on the switch, out of which vlan or port does the switch communicate with the Support Assistant whether it is the online or on site one? Because i cannot seem to add the correct firewall rule, because the switch has multiple ip addresses.

Wyse Thin Client X90M7
Hello to all, maybe I can get some help.
I have a Dell Wyse X90M7 thin client laptop, I turned my laptop on and my screen went to the Bios screen and did not load Windows 10.
I have no idea what happened so I went to the support sites to get help and eventually downloaded the firmware tool. I went through the process with the tool I found the right clicks to select what I used to have in my thin client ( I THINK ).
I have a sandisk cruzer 16GB flash drive and after my flash drive had an image on it I plugged it into my thin client and turned it on and nothing was being extracted to my thin client.
I am not a real good Dell Techie but I understand some stuff, but I need help to reimage my thin client.
I hope some one can advise how to do this so I can get my thin client laptop working again.

Dell XPS 8900 cpu upgrade to a i7-5930
I have a XPS 8900 with the Intel i7-6700. Additionally, there is an orphan Intel i7-5930k in my spares. I'd like to marry the two. While the i7-6700 is more than enough cpu for my needs; I'm one of those guys who like to customize OEM computers just for the experience. I'm almost certain the cpu is a plug in but the bios has me worried. Any ideas? Suggestions(other than don't do it) would be welcome.

All the coupons are invalid in Dell.ca?
I wants to buy a new laptop of Dell so I searched for coupons that can be used in laptop purchase in Dell.ca. One of the coupons codes is $150OFF$1700PC which save $150 dollar on PC over 1700. It can be used at the beginning of Nov.2017, and the info I saw on the official website of dell said the code will expired in February 2018. All the coupon website said so when search Dell.ca Coupon on google.
But I tried it today and the page showed that the code is invalid. Then I tried all the other coupon that not expire on coupon sites and none of them worked. Inspiron 13-5378, No bootable devices found.
When I was using my laptop (it was working perfectly a few hours ago) it’s battery was low enough that a screen in SupportAssist said that the battery was critically low so when I tried to reboot after letting it charge for a bit, it kept wanting to do a RAM test and when it would finish, I would hit Esc so it would reboot. I would end up getting to that screen yet again so this time I just rebooted and sure enough, I was back st that screen yet again. I did the diagnostic preboot or whatever it’s called and after it was done, it rebooted the computer and now I keep getting the No bootable devices found screen. What do I do? How can I fix this?

My Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop is 4-5 years old by now.
When laptop has no cooling pad under it (which I use), temperatures may go up to 80C even in idle/semi-idle states.
I am trying to move away from using a cooling pad under my laptop all the time.
1. Is there an exact model/make of the fan that is used in Dell Inspiron N5110?
2. Is there a same size fans offered with higher RPM/performance/suction capacity etc.?
3. Can you actually change that fan to a better one but with the same dimensions?

Windows Activation and Windows Key
I purchased my Dell laptop in December 2015 with a 1 year warranty.
It had major problems in July 2016 and was returned to Dell for repairs. The motherboard was replaced.
I'm now getting a shadowy message in the lower right of my screen saying "Activate Windows"
When I try, it tells me the Windows key is wrong.
Further digging indicates that this may be due to the motherboard replacement.
Attempts to chat with Dell result in "You're out of warranty"
I don't want to spend hours of phone *** trying to talk to someone at Dell, or pay for simply getting the proper Windows key.
(Windows seems to update OK with the key it has.).
How might I get the Windows Key issue resolved?

SATA disk problem on poweredge T310
Hi there. This is m first post.
I'm not an experienced administrator. I've done MCSE for Windows NT 4.0. but that was a long time ago.
Now I've bought mself a second hand T310 just for learning a new server system.
I've downloaded the 180 days evulauation windows server 2016 standard edition.
Installing it was not easy. i had to download the RAID HD drivers first in order or win server 2016 to recognize them.
During the BIOS setup I wiped the HD and created one phsical disk in the RAID Array. I have onl RAID 0.
Ater that win server did see my harddisk and the installtion itself wasn't that difficult.
I had one sata disk (Seagte 1Tb) left, and connected it to one of the internal SATA ports.There was one power connector left.
But now during startup it shows: WARNING: Dell's disk monitoring system has detected that drive on port F of the Serial ATA controller is operating outside of normal specifications. It is advisable to immediately backup your data and replace your harddisk drive b calling your support desk or Dell Inc.
Strike F1 to continue, F2 to run the system setup program.
But the hard disk just shows normall in this setup. It sees a "known"device a Seagate 1 Tb drive.
What does this message imply ?

New XPS13 9360 Intel 8th Gen FHD - does it still have CABC?
Does anyone know if the FHD version of the new XPS13 with 8th Gen Intel I7 8550U processor still has CABC (content-adaptive brightness control). I believe a fix was issued for previous UHD models but that it could not be applied to FHD models.
Wondering if the latest FHD model still has this 'feature' ?

Reset to Factory Settings
I've reset before, but for some reason this I can't seem to restore. I've copied files both to USB and to a DVD. Tried both media with same results. Every time I try to rest it goes through the motions showing that it goes to 2% and then stops. Then I get an error message "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made." If anyone has a suggestion I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
