I'm posting issue to show how Dell lies, and then blames its customer. I was given the run around, and blamed just like others.
Now dealing with an issue that was caused by the right side hinge defect, i.e. the antenna lead, I was searching for repair options and came across this forum and people with the EXACT same issue. Dell lied to me in that it communicated with me as if it was my fault, and said the only way I could get it repaired was to pay for it.
I protested with no favorable results. I then paid them (and to expedite the repair). Then they contact me days later, after having my funds during that time, that they don't have the part to repair, they didn't know when they would have it, and they then CANCELLED the repair INDEFINITELY.
Dell used to have excellent products, and customer service. I guess they're making enough profit where they don't have to care about customer satisfaction anymore.
