Home and Student 2016, and Office Pro Plus 2016 won't work in windows 10 pro
I have a new pc. Dell Inspiron 3650
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.41 GHz
16.0 GB (RAM)
64-Bit Op. Sys. x64 based processor
I installed the office pro plus 2016 with a key from seller.
It installed fine on 12 7 16 then today 12 8 16 none of the office programs will open.
The home and Student 2016 also does the same thing. I installed the pro and the home and student does the same thing.
The pc came with Win10 home I purchased from Dell Win10 pro. I called Dell support and they helped me to install pro from the usb.
One thing I never activated the home and student before downloading the purchased office pro. the office pro key worked so I didn't think I needed it.
After all the trouble with the pro I uninstalled pro and tried to use the home and student. the product key worked on it also. but the same thing happens

then it changes to

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
needless to say I have heard nothing.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

Bricked Inspiron 3043. No help from Dell Support
Hard drive crashed. Re-install of same OS version (8.1 Home) will not activate. After re-install we get "you do not have a valid activation code... please purchase a Windows license from the Microsoft store". OS re-install doesn't read UEFI Product Key.
We have spent hours on the phone with Dell support with no resolution. One support rep says "you can re-install from MS downloaded installation media" (as Microsoft also says). When we try, Windows doesn't activate. Next rep says "only OEM Dell recovery media will allow Windows activation". Fine, but Dell refuses to ship installation media to us, so who knows? In any case, a barely 14mo old Inspiron 3043 is useless at this point.
Our company has stopped purchasing or supporting Dell products due to this and other recent problems with Dell. Does any Dell rep care? None of the four we have spoken to on the phone have been any help at all.

Bluetooth PAIRS with Bose AE2W headphones, but will not CONNECT to same
Dell Latitude 6430 - Windows 7 32-bit.
Bluetooth PAIRS with Bose AE2W headphones, but will not CONNECT. I have updated all windows drivers via Dell support site, but no matter what I do, Windows still asks for "device drivers". According to Bose tech, there are NO specific drivers needed for the AE2W.
Do not have any problems connecting AE2W to other BT devices, like iPhone, or iPad....so why will the Dell e6430 w/Windows 7 not CONNECT?
Have searched internet for solutions, but to no avail. Most solutions seem to just be "guesses" --clearly intended to offer help, but many posters do not read all of the ACTUAL details...thus are inappropriate solutions.
Any real solutions are needed...prefer from Dell or Microsoft techs.

I bought your laptop DELL Instiron 7737. The purchase was make 12/23/2013.
Until now there were no problems and did not attach any importance to some small things.
The thing is that with your computer did not have the Windows installation disc.
Moreover, nowhere specified key for Windows.
For this reason, I can not activate the system after recovery.
What do I do in this setuatsii: buy a new license or have another way out full of?

DDR3 instead of DDR3L trouble??

i've just bought one module of 8 giga sodimm ram( KINGSTON MEMORY KVR16S11/8 1600MHz SODI)
and after the installation my laptop (dell inspiron 15 3542 ) didn't start giving me a two beep sound .So i wonder is my new ram broken or the my laptop cannot handle with siple ddr3 rams???

SupportAssist cannot connect to the internet
Hi there, I tried to register my device with support assist, and it said that I have no internet connection while I do. Also, when I want to see the warranty upgrades, I get the same error. Inter VLAN routing with multiple VLANs
Hi Everyone,
I have just inherited my first Dell PowerConnect 6224, and I have been trying to configure VLANs on it with intervlan routing but i've gotten too frustrated with it. What I'd like to achieve is 4 VLANs as follows:
Vlan 1 - Management (10.1.1.0/24)
Vlan 2 - GW2 (192.168.2.0/24)
Vlan 10 - GW1 (10.1.10.0/24)
Vlan 11 - Server LAN (10.1.11.0/24)
GW1 IP - 10.1.10.86
GW2 IP - 192.168.2.1
So basically what I'd like to do is Port 1 will be a trunk port connected to Gateway 1(10.1.10.86) with vlans 10 and 11. Ports 2-13 I'd like to have them on VLAN 11, this where NIC 1 of the servers will be connected. Ports 14-23 I'd like to have them on VLAN 2, this is where NIC 2 of the servers will be connected. Port 24 will be an access VLAN 2 connected to Gateway 2(192.168.2.1).
We have two seperate internet connections coming into the office, and the whole purpose of this config is so that my servers reside in 10.1.11.0/24 network, and can access the 10.1.10.0/24 network on their primary nic while having access to the secondary internet as well.
Gateway 1 supports VLANs however Gateway 2 doesn't hence why I'd like to put Gateway 2 in access mode.
Can someone please help me with the configs? I'd post my current configs but they are *** and nothing is working on them.

GTA 5 running at unstable frame rate between 29~60fps on my new Alienware 15 r3
I bought my Alienware 15 r3
core i5 6300hq
8GB RAM and GTX1060 6GB
First time I've downloaded GTA 5 to play. It kept having unstable frame rate. Thought was game problem.
After several times of downloading and installing, I found out the game does not have any problem and other games except Assassin's Creed Syndicate and GTA 5 have unstable frame drop and sudden lag.
I hope someone can help me solve this problem. Is it the games problem or my own Alienware got problem?

Various issues with XPS13 9360 DE
Hi everyone.
I'm running the provided 16.04 release with just the update of Intel drivers at deb download.01.org/.../main xenial main
I've been trying to figure these issues out but still no luck.
- Suspend mode consumption: after a night about 10-20% has been drained from the battery
- Keyboard light: with the light turned off (from keyboard shortcut on F10 key), after a while it turns on again (with no need to change AC state, no suspension, nothing I can think of that could influence)
- WiFi update rate: the interface takes very long to detect new networks, and sometimes I have to force a new search from command line "sudo iwlist scanning" and right after this command finishes it connects to the network
- palm detection: the only way I found to really make it work with just small glitches is, after any boot, remove i2c_designware_platform module, reload it, make sure no syndaemon is running and then launching it.
Any ideas about how to fix them or what to look for?

OME Home Portal Alerts pie chart
Is there any way to remove the critical and warning alerts from the "Alerts by Severity" pie chart without deleting alerts from OME? I want to keep the history of the alerts but management does not want to see the Critical alerts in the pie chart if nothing's actually wrong, or the issue has been resolved. Acknowledging the alerts doesn't appear to affect the pie chart whatsoever.
I'm running OME 2.2.0.2056.

Dell R610 goes to blinking cursor on black screen after "Initializing Remote Access Controller....."
SR# <removed>
Dell R610 goes through normal post - then displays "Initiating Remote Access Controller.......". Then goes to a blank black screen with a blinking cursor at the bottom. Sometimes vertical white lines will appear on the screen after a while.
I have rebooted multiple times with same result.
Have pressed "F2" to access server setup and the screen displays "Entering server setup" but again goes to the black screen with cursor after "initiating remote access controller.....".

Partially Completed Disk Group MD3000i
we have MD3000i and yesterday three of the hard disks failed in one of my disk group. i replaced them with new hard disks, updated the hard disk firmware and initialized the hard disks. but the problem is the Disk-group says Partially complete disk group. i need some help from anyone. we have very important critical data, which we do not want to loose.
Appreciate if anyone can help ASAP.

7559 screen is black
I bought a 7559 a few days ago. Today while watching a movie on Netflix, the screen started flickering. Then it went black. After a few minutes the screen came back on and I continued to watch the movie. A few minutes later it started flickering again and went black. Even though it was still booted, the power light was on and the keys were back lit, the screen was black. I shut it down by holding the power button pressed. But when I booted it up again, the screen flickered for a second and then went black, but the machine is still on because the keys are still lit. But ecause the display is black and I can't see anything on the screen, I can't check for any updates etc. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

N2000 SSH Connections
Our network consists of N2XXX, N3XXX, and N4XXX switches. We would like to remove telnet access from all switches and use SSH. What commands would I need in order to initiate a SSH session from one Dell switch to another? I have it set up for remote access but not seeing how I can SSH from one switch to another instead of using telnet.

M1000e monitoring via SNMP
I have several m1000e enclosures that I want to monitor via the CMC interface for hardware failures (like power supply, fans, temperature, psu voltage etc.). We are using Solar Winds NPM but the pollers they have do not pick any of this information up. I am trying to create a custom poller (by defining the specific OID values for these events) but I can't seem to find specific OIDs for these events. Will the CMC allow me to get this via SNMP poll or will this info only come in the form of a trap?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
