I just got an Aurora R5. I got no Windows install disk. No Windows Key. No Windows USB stick. No information on how to do a clean install of Windows 10. The only thing in the box was a small folded paper that tells idiots how to plug in their machine. I can see that there are three partitions on the main hard drive and one is a restore partition but I can't find anything on the computer that leads me to create a restore disk or usb stick.

Desktop 3650 - no signal from processor
I purchased a Dell 3650 from another individual. It worked at first, but now the screen says 'no signal from processor' or somthing close to that.
I switched VGA cables, no luck.
I switched monitors, no luck.
Questions: The service tag says I have warranty remaining. Since I purchased from an individual, is that warranty good?
Whether the warranty is good or not, any ideas?
Can I try HDMI cable instead of VGA?

D19M Inspiron 3650 Core i3 Video card upgrade help!1
I recently purchased this Inspiron desktop (Model: I3650-1551SLV at Best Buy) and would like to upgrade the video card. I purchased a small vid card due to the power supply being kinda weak... I got the EVGA Nvidia Geforce GT610 w/ 1GB of DDR3 RAM. After installing, nothing displayed video. The fan on the card was running but the DVI and VGA ports provided zero output, same with the built-in VGA on the mobo. Thoughts? Should I find an even cheaper video card in order to get dual monitors??

XPS 13 9360 : Maxxaudio pro doesn't work anymore !
A few day ago, there has been a Realtek audio update in Windows 10.
Since then, Maxxaudio pro enhancements don't work anymore.
I experienced this problem on two units of XPS 13 9360 QHD+ i7 512/16.
Can you fix this as soon as possible ? I tried rolling back to previous drivers but even with the rolled back driver, Maxxaudio pro still don't work.

XPS ALL IN ONE 2720 SPLIT SCREEN
So I put a new screen on my 2720 as it had a pink hue, apparently it had a back light problem. When I booted it up now I have two screen right from bios, two identical screen side by side taking up half the screen each. The mouse works, it boots into Windows and connects to the internet, it just has dual screen like a VR program.
Any ideas guys?

Netgear router vulnerability
Netgear has acknowledged a command injection vulnerability and is testing their products. Here is a list of router models that have been confirmed to contain the flaw:

Netgear is working on a firmware update that will fix the vulnerability and will release it as quickly as possible.
A beta version of the firmware update is available for some models including R6400, R7000 and R8000 models. The beta hasn't been fully tested and might not work for all users. It's offering the beta firmware as a temporary solution, and strongly recommends all users download the production version as soon as it's available.

Uhd display
Love my brand new 15r! I went for the UHD display, seem to love that so far except for 1 problem.
I think I figured out thats why every game I try to play at steam seems to have the same problem, tiny tiny text and dialog boxes on every cool game ive tried so far.
I cant even read them if i try they are that small! Does it mean I have to dumb down my display by lowering resolution of the screen every time i wanna game? And Ignore my beautiful screens capabilities?
Ive tried the text changes on my 15r but I cant live with those changes on a browser, dont know if that would help with games anyway?
Please help, seems stupid that my gaming computer is too smart to display text and dialog boxes so I can see them ingame?

Battery charging no more than 60%
I cant figure out how to get my battery to charge more than 60%. I have a new r15 but it only charges to 60% and for the life of me I cant find anything to change that in the computer?

Cannot ping other doamin
I've recently added a new domain w/ all new servers (2012). I am unable to ping or connect to my old domain (2003) even with just the IP address. I've added pointer records to both DNS servers & all he servers are on the same subnet as well as plugged in to the same switch. I'm scratching my head on this one.

Intel rapid storage technology does not start. Installed the latest driver for this from Dell. Still no luck.

Graphics card size in the Studio XPS 8000
I am looking at graphics cards to swap out for in my XPS 8000 and found out that the GTX 750Ti would work with the stock 350W power supply (it only requires 300W minimum). However, the specific models I am looking at are dual slot cards and I am not sure if the card's size is enough to fit in the case. Here is a photo of the inside with the current card (Radeon HD 7750):
Basically, what I'm worried about is if a 750Ti from, say, EVGA would be able to fit in there because of the way the fans are. Can anyone help on this?

Dell XPS 8700 Wireless Problems After Upgrade to Windows 10
I have a Dell XPS 8700 desktop with Dell Wireless Card 1704.802.11. Ever since the upgrade to Windows 10 this summer, my system loses the wireless connection on a daily basis, forcing me to reboot to reconnect to my network. The current installed driver for my 1704 wireless card is Version 7.35.295.0 dated 7/30/15. Running the update drivers from Dell Support reports back to me that my system is up to date. However, I see on the Dell support website that there is a different driver for XPS 8700 systems running Windows 10 with a Dell 1704 wireless card, and this driver is Version 7.35.290, A01, dated 8/27/15. I don't want to mess up my system and have no wireless connection so how can I determine what the correct driver is for my wireless card.

Dell Inspiron N4050 Battery says "0% available (Plugged in, Charging)" but not charging

I have Dell Inspiron N4050 laptop and from 3 months or 6, the battery would not charge but tells me
"0% available (Plugged in, Charging)" but not charging. I took the battery out and opened it and everything was fine!
Please help me because i need the laptop battery working because i use the laptop for work and i need it

Static shocked USB cable , Aurora R5 won't turn on, help!
Firstly! I'm new to the forums, so I'm not quite sure if this is the right place to ask this sort of question, so my apologies in advance. Now to my question.
So today as I got back from work I turned on my Alienware Aurora R5, decided to recharge my headphones through the USB port on the top part of the PC (that was already plugged in) accidentally touched the male metal part of the mini USB to plug to my headphones causing a static shock thus me letting go of the cable, screen turned off and went back on, alright, I thought. Attempt two again touched the metal part since it's an extremely short fast charging mini USB cable this time the whole unit turned off, I pressed the power button attempting to turn it on but no luck, did some reading about trouble shooting (draining power taking out the coin battery on the motherboard etc.) no luck pressed the little button on the back of the power supply fans turn on graphics card green GTX green logos turn on so there is power going through the PC, I assume.
TLDR; static shocked USB cable plugged into the PC now it won't turn on.
Any ideas what could cause the problem? Costumer support will charge me $450 to send it in and service it because my problem isn't covered under my warranty, I just want a second opinion from the community before I make the costly decision. Thank you so much for any help you can provide!

Strange HDD noise when shutting down
Our T630 is equipped with a H330 + 18x3.5 HDD backplane.
OS: Windows 2012 server R2 DC
When I gracefully shutdown the server from Windows Start Menu, the stock Toshiba ACA100 HDD always makes very short high-pitch noise. It's sounds like a bicycle brakes but much shorter. I suspect it's the sound of parking of the HDD head which sometimes happens during a power outage. The noise is abnormal to us for a graceful shutdown process.
However if I shutdown the server in other ways, for example, in a bios setup screen and shutdown, the HDD doesn't make such noise. So I think this issue is possibly OS related.
I have done the upgrade of firmware of BIOS and HBA card but nothing helped. I also swapped the disk for a SSD, the noise was (not surprisingly) gone.
I hope to hearing from you guys. All advices welcomed. Thanks

I got a Alienware M17x laptop That the keyboard,face on the lid,etc.But the fans don't come on and not post.
I Bought this as dead and the owner thought a dead MB,but I wonder,as the first issue I found was the keyboard wasn't connected,which if you have worked on these you'll know the keyboard has to be connected for it to work. any other places to check? or thoughts on what i can check before I pronounce the board dead?

Are al 970's like this or is it just a certain brand of them? See images.
Is the adaptor I can get to get power plugs for it compatible?

Dell PowerConnect 6248 LAG Dropping Connection
We are currently having some issues with our Blade Server LAG connection. The error we receive is "0/3/1 is transitioned from the Forwarding state to the Blocking state in instance 0". This happens and then the connection will drop as the connections transition from forwarding to learning states. This happens a few times per day.
Connection Information:
- We are not using Jumbo Frames for our connection to the blade servers
- Portfast is not enabled.
- Firmware is currently on 3.0.0.8 and the latest is 3.3.15.1
- There is a high number of Broadcast, Multicast and Unicast Packets on the LAG Channel.
Do you have any suggestions for a fix?
