I have an M5030 with Windows 7 64 bit. The screen started to go black once in a while, then got worse until it would not come on. I tried it on an external monitor and it worked fine. I can play with the video settings and some times get it to work fine on the laptop. I replaced the screen and the cable and still have the same results. I have deleted the video driver and downloaded the newest one. I have flashed the bios with the newest version. Nothing seems to help it. At times I can use it and shut it down over and over and it will boot just fine. Other times there is a faint picture on the screen but not bright enough to see. I have also adjusted the brightness level as high as possible. Does any one have any other ideas?
