I have a Dell Inspiron 15 M5030 320gb laptop. Replaced cpu 2 months after purchase. A year later I am encountering slow startups. Yesterday it went down. Wont boot, getting 0xc00000e9 message. Did the diagnostics and turns out it might be the hdd, error 2000-0146. BIOS recognizes hdd, and I have only the recovery disk. I have read it might be just sectors that are bad on the hdd and I can still boot from a cd/dvd. What do I need to boot (programs, files etc)? And could it be a virus that affected my registry? Sorry if I am not more specific. I am not knowledgeable enough with computers. Thanks for any help.
