Need assistance getting property back to Dell

Our organization purchased a used Dell XPS-410 system and found through trying to get access to drivers that the unit was supposed to be returned to Dell as a replacement unit was sent, but this unit was kept rather than returned.

Quote from customer service:

Thank you for contacting Dell Online Customer Care.

I understand from your email that you would like to know if there was an error on part of the customer or with Dell. I will assist you with the best of my ability.

I have reviewed the details and see that a replacement order was shipped to the customer but the customer did not returned the original system back. Therefore, we are unable to assist you with this system.

In case you have any questions or need assistance, please reply to this e-mail and we will be glad to assist you.

We wish to return the property to the rightful owner, but have not been able to find out who to talk to about it.
Dell has always treated us well as a customer and we wish to return the favor.

We were trying to put together a small Linux LTSP edubuntu lab with the unit, but do not want to use something that is not ours.
