My laptop that I bought around one year ago suddenly shut down on me this morning. I noticed that the charger light wasn't on so I assumed that it ran out of battery and my charger was loose or something. The charger light turns on when i plug it into the outlet, but the second I plug it into the laptop the light instantly turns off and there is no indication that the laptop is charging. I looked to see if it was the battery but the lights on the battery all lit up which I assume means it's fine. Please help me find the problem so that I can either by replacement parts or send it out to get looked over. If I need to send it out can someone also kindly indicate the price of repairing a problem such as this? Thanks in advance.
(P.S.): I'm not exactly the most tech-savvy person so I may not understand some answers so if possible please try to keep it as simple as possible.
