I am very much disappointed with DELL for failing to deliver the item as per the promise!!!
I have ordered for a Samsung 3D television on the blackfriday sale as it was a good deal with advanced technical specifications.
Yesterday I got a call from DELL stating that Dell doesnot have stock NOW and cannot process the order.
This is very much inappropriate for a big organization like DELL.
At this point, I lost the good deal which I had just because I TRUSTED that Dell delivers as promised.
And now for the price which I paid during blackfriday sale, i cannot get a good deal for the specifications I want.
It was a mistake from the DELL end.
In the first place it should not allow me to place the order if it is not sure of the stock
Dell should be aware that it shall be getting huge volumes of request for a good deal and if it is NOT READY to Deliver, donot post it on website.
Even if it had allowed me to place the order and due to huge volumes during the blackfriday, it is the duty of DELL to inform the customer atleast in the next two days.
eNow after two weeks, i get call apologising and asking me to compromise with another model which is low in specification but NOW is priced same as the one that i ordered for.
THIS IS HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE AND UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR FROM DELL.
How can a customer trust dell in future to place order for any good deal - he vl surely opt for any other retailer because he is not sure of the delivery. Incase dell runs out of stock, it vl ask to compromise with low specification but on current price and that too after 2 weeks, when you are very much sure not to find that deal.
I am very much frustrated and not sure what I need to do.
I have that model available with other retailers but on higher price now. ( as i got this one during blackfriday deal)
I dont want to compromise on lower technical specifications because if i wanted this, I would not have gone for the order that i placed for.
I want my order to be processed, or get another similar product with EXACT same specifications.
n worst case scenario, I want dell to pay for the current price of model!!
It is mistake from the DELL website..it is your responsibility to take care of this.Why should I pay now MORE to get my desired product!!!
I called up customer care in this regard. All i ge tis that they can give me a reward card of 50$ or a low specification television!!! Am very unhappy with DELL!!!
I shall be very much glad if someone can respond my situation...
