So I ordered my 14z on Black Friday.
I got the email stating that there would be a substitute, which also indicated that a new order would be created by 11/28 for the inspiron 15.
I waited, but the order for the 15 was not created by 11/28.
I called this week on 12/12 asking for the substitute order, the sales person was very helpful and nice, got the order started for the substitute Inspiron 15 and understood this is a Christmas gift and that I needed this delivered to me by 12/20 (for a family Christmas gathering), she said the order would be expedited and added overnight shipping for me. I was happy.
However
I received confirmation of the order that shows it will ship on 01/03.
Obviously, this is 2 weeks later than I need it.
I'm remaining calm.
I've been a Dell customer for a long time.
Please someone let me know it's gonna be alright.
It's been 3 weeks to the day, since I made the original 14z order.
