Had my XPS 15 for about 6 months . After about 3 months, had the motherboard replaced under warranty by a Dell technician after some problems.
Laptop works fine, except for the fact that it now seems to take a lifetime to wake up from hibernation. I was really impressed by the wakeup time and the speed at which my laptop was ready to use after a complete shut down when I first received the laptop.
This has all changed since the motherboard replacement. I seem to have something called Intel Rapid Start installed and tried to download the latest drivers for this. I received the message "your computer does have the minimum requirements for this software" or something like that. Have the feeling this was the program that gave my laptop such blistering startup times when I first received my laptop, but for some reason, since having the motherboard replaced, it doesn't work anymore.
