I agreed to take a look at a friend's X51. His system shut down and now is stuck in a bootloop. Everything passes in the self diagnostic.
I cannot boot into a bootable USB or the CD device to attempt to reload the system. The current bootloop goes to Windows Recovery, but the system restarts before anything is fixed.
The diagnostics run with NO PROBLEMS.
I have read several posts about the boot problem. Can anyone provide me clear instructions on how to configure the BIOS to boot to a USB or CDROM? It's driving me crazy.
I know about UEFI, but I don't get a device list for USB or CDROM when hitting the boot options. I also configured the CDROM and USB as boot devices with no luck.
