Dear Dell,
I acknowledge the amount of effort and hard work your team puts into designing & creating these fantastic top notch laptops. However i just wanted to draw your attention to 1 particular aspect concerning about the XPS laptop family. ALL the XPS laptops are top notch in design and has a very premium feel/look to it. However there is 1 very important aspect that is failing to meet my & and many of the other dell customers demands. The WIFI has many problems. I have the XPS 15z. I pretty much disable the wifi and just use Ethernet port because its that unacceptable. I have requested support many times: changed the Intel wifi card, updated to new drivers, reformatting my laptop. None of these has fixed it. I just gave up.. 1 of the PRO'S about a laptop is that it has wifi! If the wifi is not viable/acceptable, then there is not much difference from an actual desktop... I have noticed that many of the NEW XPS 15 (L521x) customers have reviewed that it is an exceptionally amazing laptop! But the majority of them have complained about the wifi! it has been the same with XPS 15z.. and the viable fix provided by Dell is nonexistence. Let me say thank you to Terry B who has tried to work with customers who had looked for a fix but there was no hope.
It is unacceptable that the there has been major wifi issues for 2 generations of XPS LAPTOPS. I thought the wifi problem would have been fixed by this generations laptops (L521x) but no... I was going to consider purchasing the XPS 15 to replace the xps 15z but after i heard there is ALSO wifi issues there was no need to consider anymore.
XPS is Dell's Premium Laptop Family. It is unacceptable that the problem is unfixed..
Yours Sincerely,
Alan
