Hi, i'm hoping someone can guide me to a solution that I have recently encountered:
I currently own a Dell XPS 15z, until now my lap top has been flawless. But in the last few weeks my lap top has gone upside down.
1. I firstly encountered a problem a week a go when my lap top kept giving me a blue screen error message every so often. "memory dump error", unsure to which one it is specifically!
2. So I backed everything up on a external hard drive, and re installed Windows 7 by downloading a windows 7 ISO on my sister lap top which I am currently using right now and re-installed a clean slate of windows 7 on my hard drive with my windows key to originate my windows copy.
3. All was hunky dorey well, until i started to receive driver errors, which again wasn't a problem as I installed them in the correct orderly manner.
4. But after the drivers was upgraded, every time i log in to windows, within a 1 min span windows crashes and i have to boot up! Like any human being I tried to restore my computer to an earlier stage! But failed twice to do so, so basically i'm left with a lap-top which i'm clueless on what to do at the moment...with only three month warranty left!
I have lost my recovery cd and drivers cd for my laptop, will i be able to order a new one?
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated, as i really don't know what to do now!
