i changed my HDD 2 months ago because it died on me.so i tried recovering data on a external enclosure by usb to get what i can..didnt get anything ..so i put a SimpleTech SATA 500 gb external and installed windows 7.it was working perfectly until today.we were using it and it turned off .so i tried to turn it on then it gave me "HHD not found"..i tried changing boot sequence with no luck.i even tried using the enclosure to boot by usb and it was no good...I already reset the HDD atleast 3 times, didn't work. It says "No boot sector" sometimes and gives me error code #M1004 sometimes..it says "internal hard disk drive not found,to resolve this issue try to reseat the drive"...i checked the ramcards..they were fine and in place.i know i have no virus.
