Hi folks.I also have a problem with my thermals. I recently did a reformat and the problems started there. I can't remember if I progressed thru my re install by starting my CC install with A00 or not but I did have the A02 ver installed prior to reformatting and my fans didn't work right. I remember seeing the MIO board confirming Ver 2.x.x.x updated, when I installed CC. Since the thermals still were not working, I reverted back to version A00 and I remember the board communicating that it updated back to that version. Still no work. I then uninstalled CC again and tried going to the most recent version of CC and when I did I did get a confirmation of the board communicating it got he update. Bust still no thermal love and still got warnings that alienware thermal was not working. So I started over. Uninstalled CC and tried again but now the board shows ver 0.0.0 and it's not communicating. I'm not sure what has happened to lose communication to the MIO board. What can I do to troubleshoot this? Even though I think I'm a good troubleshooter and I think I am good dealing with computers, I don't think I have all the info I need to further T/S this. I would like a schematic of the MIO board I have. What jumpers are there and what do they do, before I willy nilly start poking around. I have reset every connector on the board "I think" is the MIO board. It looks to me that the main board isn't communicating with the MIO board anymore? Did I lock it up? My fans are screaming fast, They run faster when I boot but the fans are still much faster than previously. I can't leave the computer on at night because I hear the fans while I'm many rooms away. Here is a recent fail message. It's prolly the same message seen by others.
