Abysmal Customer Sales & Service

My Dell 1TB external drive just crashed (not that old), so I wanted to upgrade to an external RAID device. The Dell rep suggested a 16TB StarTech device that I thought was a great price, and was assured more than once that it has everything I needed to have a complete and working external Raid device. Upon receiving today and opening the box, it's only an enclosure with no hard drives. I then spent 2 hours on the phone with Dell trying to straighten this out. They also offered me money to keep the enclosure - obviouslt not knowing that without hard drives, the enclosure does me no good at all. After 2 hours, 2 dropped calls, 4 transfers and $100 more dollars than I originally spent I'm waiting to see if what I get is a working Raid device. Dell has consistently messed up, misled or given me wrong product information to me. After 4 years, they still had my wrong address! The only reason I keep using Dell is because I have a good account and it is convenient not to have to start a new account with someone else - though I think my next computer will NOT be a Dell. They have very cleverly and deviously removed any way of contacting someone to complain about the unbelieveably terrible service. This is not a good business practice. Man-up and try to fix your business!
