Less than a month ago i bought a Dell u2711 monitor. I'm very happy with it, but after a while (about 3 weeks) the top USB port stopped working. I was using it with my card reader and since the first day it was connected and never disconnected. Today it has stopped working, i tried with another usb devices , and connecting the dell usb cable to another port on my computer. The only thing that work (kind of) is my iPod. When i'm connecting it, it starts charging but can't transfer anything. I couldn't find drivers on dell website for this monitor. The second USB works fine. Can the problem be with the USB cable that comes with the monitor to connect to the PC or something else ?
PS: i'm worinkg on Windows 7 professional, 32 bit
