When I boot up my Dell Dimension E510 Desktop running Microsoft XP Version 2002 Service Pack 3 I get the following error message - Files that are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions to maintain system stability Windows must restore the original versions of these files. Insert your Windows XP Professional CD2 now. When I purchased my Dell it did not come with XP CD the only thing I got was the Microsoft Office Suite everything else was pre-loaded. I cannot find my backup CD that I made so long ago. My desktop had been unpluged from the internet for over 3 months while I was out of town. When I returned and set back up the computer this is the error message I get everytime I boot up. I tried to restore to an earlier date and that has not helped. Can someone help me with this problem?
