My story:
- I bought an XPS12 which was heavily marketed by Dell as being purpose built for the new Windows 8 OS
- Two months following purchase, the computer will now not reboot
- Dell technical support tell me that there is an issue with the OS
- The only way that I can get the OS to be reinstalled is via a CD, the only problem is that the XPS 12 does not have a CD drive
- Dell's advice is to wait for the CD, procure another computer from someone that has a CD drive, and copy onto a USB drive. This is because Dell do not have Windows 8 OS reinstall's on USB's.
- The operating system will then be reinstalled. I lose all of my files on the computer (i refuse to accept the risk of not backing up on a computer that is only 2 months old) along with all my apps and personalisation.
- Disappointed. Why did I ever switch from Apple!
