I ordered an Inspiron 15z with touch screen which was doe to be shipped few days back. It has not happened. I called Dell customer service and they told me that they may have an "update" on Monday 25 Feb 2013. Since then, I have read here on this forum and other places that Dell has been misleading customers for a while now on these laptops. I was told on the phone by Dell customer service that even though these laptops are marked as "ships fast", they are actually not. I was also told that people who ordered last month have not got these laptops yet.
I am scared that now my money is tied and Dell is going to mess up the delivery by delaying it much more.
If I had known that Dell will behave so, I would not have ordered this laptop as I had many more options.
I will wait a couple of days more to hear from Dell. And if I don't then this will be my last order with Dell. I can probably take delays but not miss-selling.

My purchase is time dependent since I am flying out of Canada next week and this is very frustrating.
