Malfunctioning laptop, and no one is willing to take responsibility

A year and a half ago I bought a Dell laptop, for which I paid over 1'000 $ worth.  From the first minute it delayed response everytime the fan started.  as time went by, the delays became more frequent and more annoying.  over the past year, Dell technitians and lab replaced various parts.  I ended up paying hundreds of additional dollars for software support - as they blamed sotfware.  I even bought a temporary second hand computer which i'm writing on now, and which works better than the Dell I bought new.  I am fed up, and angree and dissatisfied with dell laptop and service here in Israel.  All I ask for is my money's worth - meaning a laptop that delivers work with out annoying breaks.  No more, but also no less.  I would expect that after this ordeal, someone would take responsibility and provide me with another - exactly the same - laptop, which I could work on,  But the lab said:  It's your word against ours...  I can't even begine to describe here how badly I'm annoyed, how many workdays and how much money i've spent on nothing, and how much I"m loosing my patience.  This was supposed to be my working base, and its nothing but a trouble base.  I'm sorry I bought it.
