Hi. I'm having a problem with my touchpad. The cursor will not move at all, though if I tap it, it still clicks.
I have no idea what may have caused it. It didn't happen suddenly - I was just on the internet as usual one day when the cursor started moving erratically and stiffly. Not too unusual, so I just tried to wait it out. It only got worse, though, until the cursor was briefly hovering around even when I wasn't touching the touchpad, then it could move but only vertically, then it moved a tiny bit but barely at all, and now it doesn't move at all.
I tried enabling the touchpad, but it's still enabled. Updating the drivers didn't help, either.
Sorry - I'm really bad with computers, so I'm not sure how to tell what kind of dell my laptop is! And I'm using Windows Vista.
If anyone could help, that would be great!
