so, this comp, a dell inspiron 530 windows xp has updated today...
it restarted during while i was running something...
and now the screen looks like 480p even tho the res is 1680x1050
this happens preety much every time it gets updated.
i just forget where and how i get it updated but it is kinda urgent, seeing as everything is fuzzy.
so please reply if you have any help.
p.s. this started happening a little while now, but there is this old tube monitor, an IBM e74 and there is about a 1in 8 chance it will not display. i have no idea why. but all it does, is i wake up the comp(from screen sleep mode) and the monitor turn on then off, and there is this led, and it blinks rapidly. if someone could tell me why its doing this,and how to fix it, that would be amazing!
