Comparison of i5-3210M and i5-3337U Processors in new Inspiron 15R Laptops

I recently purchased a 15R 3rd gen i5-3210M at 3.1Ghz 6GB RAM 750GB HD Model 7520 (however sold as Model i15R-1579sLV), but I received a 15R Model 5521 (3rd gen i5-3337U at 2.7Ghz (??) 6GB 452GB HD).  The only thing different in these two computers (other than a potential $70 in price) appears to be the HD size and the two different cpu processors speeds.  However, the i5-3337U processor speed when viewed in the system files of my Windows 8 is shown to be 1.8Ghz.  My basic question is what is the real capability difference between the i5-3210M and i5-3337U processors.  If the i5-3337U multiple processors really output at 2.7Ghz then the difference from the  i5-3210M processors boosted to 3.1Ghz may not be very important to me.  The difference in HD size is acceptable if I can get a price adjustment.  How much better is the 3210M than the 3337U?  And what does the 3210M processor speed look like in its system file?  It looks like much of the sales advertising about these many new laplops is confusing the reporting of the CPU speeds of the various processors.  As a relative non-tech person I would appreciate the counsel of experienced community members.

Thank you
