I have a Dell XPS 15 L502X. In this laptop, I have a Nvidia Geforce GT 540M graphics card. I've had this laptop for about a year and a half, and until a few months ago it has been powerful enough to run all of my games on maxed graphics settings. However, recently it has been crashing after I play games for about half an hour. The only ways I have found that prevent it from crashing are if I play these games when the laptop is NOT plugged in, or when I play the games using the integrated graphics setting rather than using the Geforece GT 540M. Using the integrated graphics significantly decreases performance, to the point where its not even fun to play games on my laptop anymore.
I've read about other users with my laptop having similar problems, and I was hoping someone had figured it out and could help me fix this.
