Hi there, I've stuggeld to find any information on this. I bought a Dell Vostro 360; the Chipset is the H61, and the socket type is 1155.
Model in question:

It currently has an Intel i5 2400S (socket 1155), and looking at the chipset (Intel H61), it could be upgraded to an i7 2600s or an i7 3770.

Is this possible - does the BIOS support these newer CPUs? And is so would they run too hot for the current cooling system?
Any help appreciated,
Nick
