I have a Studio 1737 that was gifted to me with Fuduntu on it. I am trying to reinstall Windows 7 on it. I insert the disc and the install auto starts. It gets about 2 minutes in and I get an error message saying that it "can not find the CD driver. Please install to continue. You can remove the windows disc to install from another disc and then resume installation" or something to that affect. I'm sorry I did not copy the error message. Except that it was already using the CD drive to get this far so there was some driver at work here.
I am the 3rd giftee of this laptop so any discs that came with it are long gone. Is there any hope of a downloadable driver that I can get a hold of?
