DELL V525W Black Bar on Scans/Copies

My new DELL V525W printer, prints documents just fine, but when scanning or copying there is about a 2" solid black bar that runs down the right side of the page.  There is no visible smears on the glass or anywhere else that I can see.

I also tried using both the flat scanner as well as the auto feeder and the same results.

Any ideas please.  Thanks
