Dear Dell,
I have never had such a bad customer service experience. Apart from being transferred 5-10 times per call, to departments that are still not helpful, I have been lied to by the sales department. Initially being told that I would receive replacement toners for switching to a dell printer, for my old unused toners with for previous printer, the sales person promised I would receive them at no charge. This fell through, and after many many calls, they gave me a $50.00 coupon for my troubles. This coupon expired in less than 3 months from being issued. When I did need to use the coupon, the customer care department would not provide me with another coupon. I really don't care about the coupon. What I care about is customer care, where the customer care representative should say: "oh sorry, for the poor experience you have had with dell, in order to keep your business, I would be happy to reinstate your expired coupon." Dell is not capable of this level of customer care, and therefore I will never purchase another dell product or recommend the purchase of dell products to anyone I know, in fact I will go out of my way to stear people clear of a company with such poor customer service.
Thank you for reading this. If someone in Dell customer care actually has an idea of what customer care is, I hope someone in the department will finally deal with this situation properly.
Good day.
