Hi,

I have a new Latitude E6230 with 500GB hdd.

I would to resize in 2 partition (SYSTEM 100GB, DATA 400GB. so if problem wiith OS i can reinstall without lost data).

I resize partition and make new with Acronis Disk Director.... then problem start.

On reboot notebook don't start "Partition table is invalid!"

Then i try to fix first with Windows 8 recovery CD..... nothing

Then tried with Gdisk (GPT Fdisk, linux utility capable to manage GPT partition).

Nothing....

Some info:

1) I can see all partition (i can see with windows 8 rescue disk and also with linux recue tools)

2)  bootrec /fixmbr  -> ok but think is not important on UEFI GPT boot
3)  bootrec /fixboot -> ok but think is not important on UEFI GPT boot
4) bootrec /scanos -> ok find my Windows 8 partition
5) bootrec /rebuildbcd -> find windows 8 partition but is no able to add in bcd
6) THIS WORKAROUND seem to work... and if i delete bcd and after i create again with

bcdboot c:\Windows /l en-gb /s b: /f ALL

bcd is created again but in reboot i have again message about partition is not valid and more if i try to do

bootrec /rebuildbcd

again i receive message error.

I did last way:

1) start with windows 8 dvd

2) delete OS partition and then restart

3) start with windows 8 dvd again

4) created ne partition (in the same place of previous) and the installed windwos

5) when windows installation end.... on restart...... black screen again and "invalid partition table"

I NOT WANT DESTROY ALL PARTITION (recovery, diagnostic, etc)....

How i can fix this problem? All programs I tested are able to se and manage all partition, all program says that partitions are ok.... but system don't start!!!!!!!!

WHYYYYYY????

Please HELP ME !

Best regards
