I purchased two Dell Laptops as Christmas gifts in 2011, initially one charger went bad, was replaced after spending and hour 30 minutes on the phone with the technician. Now the same computer has technology issues, it WON'T BOOT UP!!! Called technical support to be on the phone for 2 hours and 50 minutes for them to tell me that the motherboard, Op drive and hard drive have to be replaced. They stated that I would receive a call from a technician within 48 hours and after 48 hours the technician that held me on the phone for almost three hours calls to tell me that the parts have not shipped yet. Unfortunately, they called my grandson who has the computer at college and he said ok, when I was told I called them back, spoke to a manager who says that they can expedite it for delivery tomorrow. So my grandson has been without a computer, not doing homework for three days and now it will be longer. I asked for the number to the corporate office to file a complaint and was told that they don't have a number all they can do is request a call back to me, which I requested. We'll see how long it takes them to call. In the meantime, I've paid for a warranty that has proven not to be useful at all. What a scam!!!! After purchasing five Dells, I will never purchase from them again.
