My Dell Inspiron 1764 became very slow. Tried many things to no avail and decided to do factory restore. I did F8 and it appeared to complete the operation.
Then rebooted and message was "BOOTMGR is Missing Press CTR+ALT+DEL to restart"
Tried several times and error same.
Then I did diagnostics and get following error:
Error code 0146
Msg: Error code 2000-0146
Msg: Hard Drive 0 - self test log contains previous error(s)
