I purchased a new Inspiiron 2330, additional 23" monitor and new MS Office Profssional and Adobe Acrobat new software through a Dell sales rep in the Annapolis Mall in Maryland 11 days ago. So far it have been a vevry disappointing experience. Here are some highlights:
1. I have never received any communication by email as promised by the Dell rep in person - nothing.
2. The 2330 all-in-one computer arrived labeled "Refurbished" but I was told at the time of purchase I bought new equipment as intended. Nothing whatsoever was said about "refurbished" and I didn't know it existed.
3. The MS Office software has not arrived but the Dell website says "shipment delivered." This is incorrect, what was delivered was only the adobe software.
4. An auromated voice mail informed me yesterday that the missing additional monitor would not ship for another 3 weeks without any explanation.
5. I have made six separate phone calls seeking answers to the software problem without success. I'm about ready to give up trying and return everything to Dell.
I wonder whether a complaint to the Maryland attorney general's office claiming fraudulent business practice is justified by these well documented events.
