Latitude E6230 - Win7x86 - FingerPrint Reader Not Recognized

Hey,

I just bought a Scratch & Dent Latitude E6230 from Dell Outlet. It came with a 32-bit Win 7 Professional installation, which recognizes the fingerprint scanner as "Dell ControlVault w/ Fingerprint Swipe Sensor"; however Windows does not find any Biometric Devices. Is there any way to get Windows to recognize it as a Biometric Device? Is there any other way to test if the fingerprint scanner is working?

I checked the System Configuration from the reciept and it has the following line:

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Please let me know if any other information is needed.
