Hi Team,

I am migration mailboxes from domino to O365. I am now migrating a mailbox which is around 20 GB in size in domino. It has around 76000 mail items. I am using admin pooling utility while migrating mailbox. The mailbox migration starts properly. It first migrates all contacts (around 1663 items) and then all appointments and tasks (Around 7000 items) and starts migrating mail items. It migrates 397 mail items and then migrations stucks for some time and restarts again from 0%. This has happened for 4 times. Please help me resolve this. I see the error in the log files as mapi retries being exceeded.

So I bought my laptop around a year ago, and now i would like to upgrade my graphic card and RAM, so apperentlymy local tech guy said that its impossible to do that, is it true?

Hi,

I have a dell xps 12, bought in 2012. Recently the battery stopped charging. The battery shows 0%, so I have to be plugged in to turn the laptop on. When it is on, the battery icon on the task bar says "plugged in, charging" but after a day it is still 0%.

Since then I bought a new battery. Just fitted it, but now the battery icon on the task bar says "plugged in, not charging". Furthermore, when I Fn+F3 to show the battery meter, it says "battery charging diabled". There is no option here to turn battery charging on. Nor is there an option to enable battery charging in BIOS. 

BIOS does show battery performing normally, so does the battery meter (Fn+F3). BIOS also shows AC adapter as 45W, which is the original adapter.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi, my sister has a Dell XPS 410 running Windows 10 and I was wondering if you could update the BIOS on Windows 10 or just make a temp XP install and update it that way instead.

P.S Reason I want to update the BIOS is so I can put a Core 2 Quad in it.

my vostro 220 I could charge my phone via the usb port when the computer was off. However, my optiplex 380 wont charge while computer is off. Why and can I change this?

I've been experiencing an issue where when my mouse is on the desktop, it delays a lot to my actions on the track-pad. I could draw a figure of 8 and it would take 3 seconds to complete the pattern after I drew it for example. I've cleaned my disk startup and i've updated drivers. The specs are:
GPU: GTX 960M
i7 6700Q @ 2.6GHz
16GB RAM
4k Display
500GB SSD

If anyone could help me out, that would be great. Thanks!

Hi

I've bought Alienware 15r2  on december 2015.

I have an issue with battery:

It holds charge only 2 hours. During this time I don't play games only surf in  the internet (I read text)

But it's said that it would hold charge for 5 hours on different forums

Is it battery issue?

Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 that i have replaced the hard drive in and installed windows 7 for a friend. After I replaced the hard drive I get this message" No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot. F2 for setup utility
   Press F5 to run onboard diagnosics". Not every time I boot but maybe one out of every three times. When I hit ,f1, as it suggests it does start up without fail. I just Look to eliminate this from happening. I have already checked the bios for boot sequence and ran a boot repair, bootrec /fixmbr-bootrec /fixboot, with the installation cd. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello my name is Luiza and I have a Dell Inspiron 3521.

A couple of weeks ago my laptop started to show blue screens. I tried to recover it in so many ways and none of them solved my problem. 

Then, two days ago I was able to recover to factory settings, however the problem was still there ( the blue screen).

When running a performance check up it gave the following error:

Error Code 2000-0151

Validation 106482

Msg: Hard Drive 0 - S/N S316J90DB31960, incorrect status= 32

No additional sense information.

What does it means?

This is a follow-up to my original 8/22/16 question. I used the helpful responses and Dell.com but could not install the first BIOS update from A04.

I obtained relevant information and BIOS update files from Dell.com. The first update, from A04 (10/17/13) to A03 (yes!, 11/20/13) can only be done using a bootable USB flash drive, not via Windows, so I made a 16GB USB drive from the XPS 8700 according to the instructions provided. Dell's instructions for booting from it to execute the A03 update file that I had added to it indicate that pressing F12 during the Dell splash logo at power-up will take me to the One Time Boot Menu where I can select the USB Storage Device option and go to a Diag C:\ prompt to run the update. But when I press F12 I get a different menu headed "Boot mode is set to: UEFI: Secure boot: ON". It has no USB Storage Device option. Every option I have tried leads only to a Windows sign-in page, not a DOS prompt. I found a reference to a similar situation at

but it did not include a proven solution. I suspect that I might need to switch from UEFI Secure Boot to Legacy BIOS but am reluctant to do risky experiments that could brick the PC. I would be grateful for input from any community member who has used a successful procedure for updating the UEFI/BIOS to the next later edition from a bootable USB  flash drive (or safely doing jump updates from A04 directly to later editions using Windows). Perhaps Dell has published one but I have not found it.

Hello community.

I have a question about BIOS type in PowerEdge T20 Server.

I want to install a PCIe SSD and boot Windows from it, but I have info about that only UEFI BIOS can support this feature. The question is; What type of BIOS have the PowerEdge T20 server?.

The PCIe SSD that plan to use is a Kingston Hyper Predator 460 GB on the PCIe 16x 2.0 x4 expansion slot.

Additionally, can I connect a SSD 2.5" without optional card controller?.

I don't know why but i have to restart my pc everytime i download some big file is this normal? why is a restart necessary for my computer to run normal

Example DL'ing big file @ 20 mb's per second  all sudden my computer just acts up and starts going slow and i have to restart my pc for it to work fast again.

I to have a 2330 that is doing the same thing everyone else is having.  I read a lot of the same thing but no fix.  one person said they replaced the motherboard and it fixed the problem if this is true i will do the same but only one person said it worked.

Hi,

I am using a Dell Inspiron 5 5000 and experience the following problem:


When I turn the laptop off after using it for a while and I want to turn it back on by pressing the power button, it does not turn back on. After waiting a few hours however, the power button works again and the laptop does turn back on.
Sometimes (don't know if this is related) the battery is completely empty after the waiting period.

I think it might be due to overheating, although the laptop never feels really hot. It does feel warm when it does not start up.


Can anyone help me figure out what might be the cause and a solution? It's a pretty anoying problem and I don't know what I can try to solve the problem.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I have a new Inspiron i3252.

I tried to install my HP 932C printer (about eight years old), but its installation cd won't automatically install when I insert into the pc.

I tried to install the printer via HP's website, but that didn't work either.

Any suggestions on how to get the printer's cd to install on the pc?

For the Dell moderators monitoring this forum...please discuss providing non-Microsoft touchpad drivers.  My primary complaint for my machine is the touchpad.  After reading several other forums with similar complaints, there seems to be a lot of people that insist that the Dell XPS touchpad issues stem from using Microsofts circa 2006 generic "precision touchpad" driver.  There isn't much ability to adjust settings with it, and the 2-finger scroll function is terrible.  I have tried some other suggested solutions, like installing generic Synaptics drivers, and they fix some things, but introduce other issues as well.  Can Dell please consider releasing some better drivers to improve the performance of the touchpad?

Hope someone can give me some pointers but tonight I noticed my Alienware 17 was using Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 as the graphics card rather than the GTX 880M.

The card does not show up in BIOS either now, it could have been like this a while I guess, nothing I have tried has been able to find the card, I did have an issue recently where the laptop was not charging but that seems to have gone away, could e a red herring.

Any ideas what I can try, the laptop is coming up for 2 years old now and out of warranty.

I am on windows 10, the processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4910MQ CPU @ 2.90GHz

would anyone knows why keep having 'reading' message appears? I had a 016-393 error message and then (after updating firmware) 116-364 error message I have now. I am trying to find out what the error message of but it looks like fuser sheet is not initializing it might be fuser kit I guess any thoughts? I have this printer about 4-5 years, should I get a new fuser ? or I have a different problem.

I purchased a UP2414Q that I could never seem to get working. I finally after 2 weeks of speaking with reps it was replaced. The monitor I was sent stopped working a day after it arrived so I sent it back. After that it took me 1 month to get another replacement which had the same issue. 

I turn on the monitor and the display lights up. After 1 day of usage the monitor stops working and will not turn on.

I'm trying to install Windows 2012 R2 on a PowerEdge R710 server, creating the partition creates two automatic partitions me and I can not partition my drives in RAID 5 as one which can be this fault?
